Key Themes
Sluggish or absent reaction
Diabetes and its complications: recurrent infections, low immunity, diabetic foot, fluctuating blood sugar
Diarrhea and liver involvement
Clinical Sphere
Diabetes:
Insulinum is the principal sarcode in diabetes and its complications, particularly where blood sugar levels fluctuate and immunity is low.
Infections in diabetics: Recurrent infections, abscesses, and suppurations that fail to improve; marked tendency to abscess formation and easy suppuration due to disturbed sugar metabolism and associated liver dysfunction, often following acute infections.
Liver pathology: A hidden gem in hepatic disorders. Especially useful in hepatitis and hepatomegaly caused by prolonged toxic processes. In enlarged liver seen toward the end of acute infectious diseases (e.g., typhoid, pneumonia), a few doses of
Insulinum 30C can restore balance and rapidly promote regeneration.
ENT conditions: Ear infections that do not improve; chronic otorrhea and mastoiditis in emaciated children, with thin pus—particularly when associated with enlarged liver and chronic diarrhea, or as sequelae of acute infections.
Mental and General
SymptomsBurnout with a spaced-out feeling
Clouded thinking and other mental disturbances
Vertigo, worse during fasting

Dosage
In pathological cases, 6C or 30C is most effective with frequent repetition
When clearly indicated, higher potencies such as 200C or 1M may be used
