Luffa operculata 3-644.75.14A 64-year-old man, tall, and slightly hunched as if he is too long to feel comfortable in his body. He has suffered from bowel and sinus complaints his entire life. He speaks with a slight stutter, doesn’t complain, and always carries on quietly. “It’ll last my time,” with an attitude that says, “Just let it be.” He is completely exhausted. There’s no energy left in his body. His legs are very weak. For years, he has had bladder paralysis, which developed after a heart operation for fibrillation. He must catheterize his bladder and regularly flush it with water. Over the past year, he has suddenly developed infections, fungal or bacterial, which he doesn’t feel, but the urine smells terrible. His heartbeat becomes irregular and skips beats, which he notices when lying in bed. During these times, he feels unwell and uneasy. He has come for help with this overall picture. His muscles ache and tremble, making him unstable. He can fall easily but doesn’t feel dizzy. He has to shuffle his feet. He has now become so tired that he feels everything acutely. It’s “survival.” His muscles are cramping more often, and even his thumb can get stuck. The muscles need to be activated and lack strength. When he catches a cold, everything worsens, and his heart skips beats again. Blood tests show no abnormalities. His sleep is always short. At work, he tries to avoid stress by postponing tasks on his agenda to avoid getting overwhelmed. He has been swamped for 20 years but finds his work particularly enjoyable. He enjoys watching his children build their lives. After eating, he always feels bloated, and his abdomen visibly swells after dinner. His bowels are doing relatively well; eating plenty of peanuts helps. He passes a lot of gas.
AnalysisQ-search: Search term ‘heart’, filters Iron series4, 0 0,
Stage 14; Luffa emerges. The problems began or worsened after his heart issues and subsequent ablation, leading to bladder paralysis (term of
Stage 14). so the heart was taken as the starting point.
Iron series was chosen due to the characteristics of the
Fabidae.
Confirmation can be found in:
Iron series: Fatigue and bowel issues, known in the
Fabidae.
Phase 7: “It’s enough”.
Phase 5: Bloated feeling, enjoyment (
Phase 5) in his work (a
Iron series aspect), finding the work pleasant.
Stage 14: Lack of strength, bladder paralysis. The dullness (think at
Plumbum).
Lifelong bowel complaints and fatigue (Iron series4), with the current Phase of life being “just a little longer,” near the end of his working life (
Phase 7). He enjoys this phase (
Subphase 5).
This leads us to
Cucurbitales.
Prescription:
Luffa operculata C200.
Follow-upProgress was rapid and significant. His muscles improved, and the fatigue disappeared. His feet remained stiff for two weeks; he needed about 10 minutes to “start-up” in the mornings, but after those two weeks, the stiffness resolved. His bowels vary weeks of good function followed by a few days of more frequent bowel
movements. Occasionally, there is yellowish mucus. Rarely, does the urine smell again, but chamomile tea helps, and there is no longer an “oil” layer on the urine. He still isn’t completely steady on his feet; he wobbles a bit while walking or standing up. His irregular heartbeat is much less frequent now, correlating with the fatigue, and is fairly well under control. Triticum repens provided a few days of increased energy and clean urine, but the symptoms eventually returned.
