An eight-year-old boy, shy and attentive, speaks with a squeaky voice, looks attentively, and has cheerful eyes, but most of the time he is withdrawn, he can often look at his mother with a radiant expression. An allergy test was done earlier, he suffers from wheat, milk, and soy. Since toddler time, he has been on a diet, without a diet he had stomach aches and acidic stools at that time. Now he has been complaining about stomach aches daily for months. He also has a lot of headaches, sleeps poorly, and is very tired. He cannot tell much about the pain himself, 'I don't know'. He cannot sleep because of the pain. He lies awake for more than an hour before falling asleep, sometimes walking around. Once he falls asleep, he often sleepwalks, his pajamas are then wet with sweat. He is a sensitive child, even fainted once when he saw another child fall and suffer pain. If the teacher is angry with someone, he takes it personally, at home, everything then explodes with crying and anger, nothing is good.
The pregnancy went well, the membranes broke earlier, the mother received daily checks, and was eventually induced after a week. It was exciting for a few days, mother works in healthcare and knows the risks. From the second week, he cried a lot, and after daytime activity, from that evening on they had a colicky baby. Now he gets headaches after activity, with tension and fatigue. When tired, he becomes pale and gets red ears. School is going well, he is kind and helpful and seeks out those he feels safe with.
Analysis:Phase 3: gentle, sensitive to stimuli.
His caution and the 'doubt' of childbirth refer to an early Stage, 3 or 4. The soft and sweet demeanor, with a receptive gaze and withdrawal into their safe world, is known from the
Boraginales. As if they envelop themselves in a soft, dough-like protective layer, a sort of buffer zone from which they read and interpret external stimuli. The
Campanulales also have this, but they are more outward-facing and more present, with more of a thoughtfulness that often only stands out when they want to shut themselves off.
From the 'total picture', the rubric 'horrible things' in the repertory was reviewed, where Borage immediately stood out, being
Phase 3, the gentleness was recognizable. The peace and confidence that the child exudes, which is visible, fits
Subphase 4.
The food allergy fits into Class 6.
Prescription: Borage officinalis C200
Follow up:Falling asleep is better, sleepwalking is less frequent, he is no longer so restless in the evenings, and you also don't hear him getting out of bed anymore. He now talks more himself, and with answers, he still turns to his mother, the headaches are still there the first month regularly when he gets worked up when he finds something unfair. He had nightmares about death. Everything is over in the second month, sometimes he still says 'stomach ache' when he is hungry or when he needs to go to the bathroom. Meanwhile, he has started expressing himself differently, being more rebellious, angry, or sad. It is as if the tension is now coming out instead of internalizing it. No more headaches now. Energy is getting better. He has nice dreams. Sleepwalking very rarely now. This month he had blood in his stool once, but without complaints. The following year he is fine.
