She has had a constant coryza since birth, occasional breathing pauses, and mild reflux. Her nose is stuffy; during the day, there is a little mucus, and at night, it is thick mucus. She cannot breathe well and is therefore often awake, frustrated and angry. She wants a pacifier and has a strong need for it. In the summer, she had a period of heavy coughing; sometimes she has a productive cough. Once she had a fever for a week, and her nose was even worse than usual. Because of the reflux, she is now given thickened goat’s milk; the mother feeds her on demand, and the child already has a good rhythm. The reflux and constipation improved after osteopathy.
The pregnancy was “difficult”; before this, the mother had suffered several miscarriages at 12 weeks, so this time she received hormone and protein infusions; she frequently had flu during the pregnancy.
