A woman of 60 years, she has ‘wheezing lungs’. She is cheerful, and open, smiles regularly, stays very much to herself, and allows attention well. Friendly but superficial, a bit careful in communication and expressing herself, modest. There are moments of sadness in her eyes, more a tiredness, an attitude of expectation, even a bit suspicious. She can blossom up in a split second when answering. Her face let see discontent, with autonomous thoughts but she hold I in. Looking for words into herself and the space just before her, dressed very tasteful, cool colors, a bit artistic. The same attitude and picture I saw in an
Cornus alternifolia case. She had been directed by her colleagues, more than she wanted the consultation for herself. Lung cancer in the family. She had lung problems since she was young. When she was sixteen she had the flu very severe, and since that time two times a year troubled her lungs. Then she is just sick with it for a week. It always starts with a sore throat, then the nose closes up and finely comes coughing with phlegm. Usually, feverish, which she notices because the skin hurt. Lots of mucus on the airways and lungs. She uses Alvestor and Ventolin, which does help. She hates that ‘crap terribly’(her medication), but without it, it is too bad or she gets pneumonia. Usually once in May-June and once in December-January, the rest of the year she is fine. Out of
the lungs she fine, no infections.
The mucous membranes: dry mouth, bad taste, hearing is less. Burning eyes, regular drops relieve.
Tinnitus on the left side for years, that was very annoying at first, once she used an appliance for it. She isery sensitive to aphthes: with food, with more stress, throughout the mouth she always use aphthes gel as prevention. She has quickly bacterial infection in the nose, with crusts, bleeding, nosebleeds. She had a balance problem in her younger years. Thyroid: she had been taking tablets for it for ten years, it was discovered by chance when she was tired. What stressful is: for example, a busy period, or having to say no, she does not like that. She has a lot on her neck, but she also like it though: the grandchildren, babysitting, or if she can do something for someone, it can be her mother, or friends, at work, colleague, she is a baby sitting grandmother. Work: physician assistant at a polyclinic. She was in the luxury position of being able to stop working when the kids came along, but now she work part time. She did the training, it came her way by chance, and it is nice work: the contact with people, to help other people on their way, seeing if they need it.
Contact with colleagues is valuable to maintain this work.
Family: a lot of brothers and sisters, one deceased. Till eleven she had a great time, then she had to go from the cozy village school the last year to another school. Tears, until high school. After the move: again to another school, she has a moving trauma. Loneliness: at a school where you did not know anyone. After moving with my husband, that came up again. At home, the rule was ‘no whining’. She had many girlfriends before she went to the other school. At that youth she was very vulnerable to sores and wounds.
Hobbies enough: politics, church, work is very active, board work, she like to read, in the garden.
She finished school at 16, did the training, the aftermath of grief. She was still very vulnerable then: not cheerful, and sleep was not good. That lasted for years, it is a vulnerability, finely changed by the people
around me a bit, and also by the satisfaction of work. Sleep is now good. She can dream very nice, sing loudly in sleep, and laughs. With the throat: sometimes fever, the skin hurts, she has to take rest, otherwise it takes a month. Uterusectoy twelve years ago, she had lots of fibroid s, it started with a lots of bleeding, and in a short time it turned on very bad. She uses thyrax for eight years now.
AnalysisSeries 6: Infections, resistance, searching for herself, has to do that herself. Medication is crap (Lanthanide words, she want to do it herself)).
Series 5: Belonging to a group is a theme for her, more feeling then thinking, her mood is a reference for
herself, throat problems, thyroid, 'it's on my neck'.
Lamiidae,
Series 65, her story fits also her emotional problems during puberty, belonging and appearing is a topic. Her way of talking, her attitude, searching for words of expressions, literally searching around her, looking up in the spade and her thoughts at the same time inwards, often seen in
Lamiidae indications, it is just performance, the translation of feelings into words).
Phase 1: Vulnerable, suddenly, unity, loneliness, cheerful, singing in sleep, work: the start was spontaneous,
as we know from phase 1 ('hey this is fun'). Her sudden ‘flashing up out of her sadness.
Phase 6: not belonging as a pain point, a story of life, when getting sick have to lie down, low in energy.
Doing much or too much,
Stage 8. Bleeding sudden fits
Phase 1, and very much fits
Stage 8. Forcing, getting sick with too much stress fits stage 8.
Prescription:
Cornus rugosa MK.
Follow up two monthsDoing well, had no ear-nose-throat symptoms, aphthes and ulcers very occasional. Able again to work all
summer as usual. She always notice if her body can handle it. The following year was without complaints. She starts decreasing medication for lungs the following year. The dry mouth and tinnitus did not change.
