A young woman of 26 years, she is very strikingly made up, an art deco or almost a Jugendstil appearance.
She has many abdominal complaints, which she would very much like to be rid of. Severe pain in the stomach, troublesome intestines. The stomach is very active, she always has faulty stools. The pain is usually after eating, a bloated stomach, then I want to curl up, that is how bad the pain is. After half an hour the pain descends to the intestines. Cramp in the intestines, which then lasts the whole day, sometimes 2-4 hours. That is the whole abdominal area.
It began a very long time ago, back then she started reacting to olive oil. Eating out is a bad business. Boyfriend: she loves good food, so she eats it too. It has been like this for 20 years: she cannot remember it ever having been good. But it was never as bad with that pain as now, for two years already. Four months ago there was even an acute admission, they suspected appendicitis, she could no longer stand from the pain. Metamucil makes her very nauseous, other sachets aggravate the pain. The stool is never hard, it is soft, liquid or pasty, the smell is variable, sometimes rotten, the frequency is also variable, always once in the morning. It has no influence on the pain. She is often nauseous. Touching the belly is not pleasant, she is eating less, she is tired of it.
Her boyfriend gives cues in the conversation, about the changes of the last two years (she herself makes no connections): she now has a different job, that is a great improvement, she feels much more at home. She also moved in together in the same period. In her previous job I had trouble with ‘something’ at work, she was a bit depressed. There were so many unpleasant things thrown at her, but it had no effect on the intestines. She only got the rotten jobs, was ignored. She has come out of it strong, you can tell, you can see it, before that time she was sad.
In the beginning, back then she was really ill from olive oil, with a lot of pain. She likes a great many kinds of food, only not fish. The tongue is slightly red at the sides. The taste in her mouth is often somewhat sour.
She has trouble falling asleep, and wakes 3-4 times, no idea why. She is always thinking, when there is something: about other people, she worries. She likes to help, she likes to solve it for them, who are ‘they’: the animals, our cats, my partner. That has been so all her life, brooding. She likes working with people, helping people, making them beautiful. Hobbies I don’t really have; dancing, that was a passion but I have not been able to do that for years: she had a bone tumor in the lower right leg, which was removed, there is a piece of donor bone in it now. That is painful under pressure. That tumor was 11 years ago, she got pain, in the knee, stabbing.
She has a cat allergy, from a dog she gets a rash.
She also loses weight very quickly. A lot of earwax, often syringes it out, often the left. Resistance is good. Pain: I can tolerate a lot of pain, I am hard on myself. No dreams. Afraid: that I hurt other people, say the wrong things, say something wrong.
Analysischaracteristic aspects:
Series 6: Allergy, complex complaint, not letting herself be influenced by the complaint, bones:
Lanthanides aspects.
Series 3: pets, partner, making people beautiful,
Series 63: household chores of home, garden and kitchen. 1:1 contacts.
Caryophyllidae is an option.
Making beautiful, caring, fits with the
Silver series, but the ‘caring for’ seems to play a bigger role than the beauty. She is sure of herself.
Phase 3: vulnerable, having many things thrown at her, not being assertive.
Phytolacca catches the eye,
Stage 12, the bone tumour. But
Stage 12 plays no further role.
The intestine, the ‘dirty’, the tiredness, being treated like old rubbish, fitting with
Stage 16. I had seen Petivera-alliacea work well before in a very striking type, who very explicitly set himself up towards school and the home situation, while at the same time he was a plaything of bystanders and circumstances. The appearance of this woman and her vulnerability at her previous job are reminiscent of it. Being tough, remarkably ignoring one’s own complaints. She is the second child, mother has Crohn’s, father also thin, trouble with the intestines.
On enquiry: ‘she feels different from her parents’. The closedness also fits, telling little, taking the complaints for granted (trying to ignore them?), wanting to enjoy, possibilities that disappear.
Prescription: Petiveria alliaceae D30.
Follow upOn the evening of taking it there was loud rumbling in the belly. She has had no more pain. It is over.
Now and then the intestines still swell up, half an hour after eating. There is no more rumbling. She can now eat everything again, has been out to eat a few times. She did try that more often, always with small portions, now she had no trouble. The stool is different now, no longer so soft. Sleep is still the same, she is tired in the evening though. That was always the case, for two years it has been worse. She wakes up, is then thirsty, and takes a few sips. She always sleeps with her mouth open, has difficulty breathing through her nose. Her weight is still the same. In secondary school she was bullied because she was thin. The taste in her mouth is no longer sour. Energy still moderate. Tongue centrally a somewhat raw spot. The pain stays away, she worries because her weight is not increasing.
