8 5 KingdomsKingdomsMedicines are made from chemicals, plants, bacteria or animals.
Vaccines are made from bacteria or viruses. Traditionally, plants have been the main source of medicines; many of today's medicines were originally derived from plants. These are chemicals derived from plant molecules, such as dioxin, which comes from foxglove,
Digitalis lanata. To a lesser extent, medicines have been produced from animals. So the medicines come from different realms. This also makes them different.
Plants have a different quality than animals and minerals.
Bacteria are different from plants. Each kingdom has its own realm, so to speak.
The classical kingdoms were minerals, plants and animals.
Bacteria are a new kingdom because they could not be found in ancient times because of the microscopic size of bacteria.
MoodThe kingdoms are mainly important for the mood, the atmosphere. They give a kind of background on which the processes take place. The kingdoms have a correspondence with the
Series.
LevelsThe kingdoms can also be connected to the
Series:
1.
Hydrogen series: Mineral kingdom
2.
Carbon series:
Bacterial kingdom3.
Silicium series: Plant kingdom
4.
Iron series: Animal kingdom
5.
Silver series: Human kingdom
Rosa’s case continuedIn the case study, the woman speaks mainly about the situation as it is for her. It is her own view of the situation and includes little of the view of her adversary. She describes the facts more than the emotions. This fits the Mineral kingdom.
Mineral KingdomAn important aspect is the one-sided view. They usually see things from one perspective, their own perspective. Even if they are very sensitive and perceive all the sensitivities of other people, they interpret them from their own perspective. This makes them very tidy in their presentation. They tend to be tidy in everything, their work, their accounts, their clothes, their car, their house.
Factual presentation, presentation of facts and data, everything is orderly, logical and timed.
Things are structured, orderly, clothes are blocked or striped.
Facts, data, reality, one-sidedness.
Survival, security.
Communication, living together. Movement, emotion, dispute. Thought, theory, empathy, imitation.
Bacteria KingdomThey feel that something is invading them. Their body and space are taken over by strangers, alien forces. They feel penetrated, infiltrated, exposed.
Their experience is strongly oriented towards illness and health. The patient's whole life seems to revolve around being sick or being healthy. To become healthy, they are often obsessed with food. They follow the right diet and take sufficient supplements, they adhere to strict health rules, avoid certain foods, and blame all ailments on a dietary error. Or they go to the opposite, overeating or eating away a disease. They feel abnormal because they are sick.
Plant KingdomThey have a multi-layered view. They tend to see things from the point of view of themselves and many others. This leads to their counselling being less orderly and they move from one subject to another. Each aspect leads to an aspect of someone else. This leads to the feeling that things are not fixed, unclear, nebulous, spongy. Whatever is said, there is always another point of view.
They not only see things from different angles, but also change their behaviour accordingly. They are sensitive to what others think and feel and change their behaviour accordingly.
They have a multifaceted view that is influenced by the views, problems and opinions of others.
Spongy, cloudy feeling, the boundaries are not very clear.
Animal kingdomThey have a strong hierarchical thinking. It is all about who is the best and who holds the highest position. This leads to the theme of competition. Competition also exists in the other kingdoms, but it is even more extreme in the Animal kingdom. Connected to this is the theme of alliances; alliances bring more power. The theme of alliances is also found to a lesser extent in the Plant kingdom, but is not present in the Mineral kingdom.
Killing is a strong aspect of the Animal kingdom that is not present in the other kingdoms.
Plants can take away the space for others to survive, which can lead to death, but it is not direct killing.
Animals have the characteristic of direct killing.
Theme: competition; struggle; dominance.
Theme: attack, defence; victim, attacker; killing, murder. Theme: survival; food; territory; habitat.
Theme: sexuality; attractive; attention; lively, spirited, lively. Themes: motion, emotion, passion.
Human kingdomHumans have been seen as a separate kingdom from time immemorial. Biologists often regard humans as animals.
Humans and animals have many things in common, especially on the physical, material level. But on the mental and spiritual level, humans are very different. The essential difference is that humans are thinking beings. For this reason, it is better to treat human beings as a separate Kingdom. The thinking of human beings is a completely new development in evolution, a new Stage. This development is not into the external world but into the internal world.
The theme in the human realm is the connection with other people, empathy and sympathy. Empathy makes learning from each other the theme, which turns into learning by imitation. Also, the conscience of good and evil is important.
See Appendix 2 for more descriptions of the kingdoms.
