Case by Jan Scholten.
Girl, 3 years old, autism. She is difficult to control and usually says no to her parents and her sister. She often has abdominal pain, a kind of colic, around her navel. The diagnosis is dysbio-sis and infection with bacteria and candida. She especially complains at full moon. She often has infections with fever especially before the full moon. She then has symptoms like nasal runny nose, sneezing, coughing and pus coming out of her eyes. It is all not so acute, but it is tiring.
Her pregnancy was good and the delivery normal. She has been breastfed and that went well. Her sleep is not so good, very restless. She cries while sleeping from which she wakes up often. She goes to bed late.
The first day at daycare it was very difficult, she lay flat on the floor and did not want to do anything. The first month she did not want to go there because she was afraid of the other children and afraid of being separated from her mother. Gradually things got better there and she became friendly.
She can get very angry if she doesn't get what she wants, then she puts her teeth together and starts pinching her mother. She can be very vindictive and can also delay it. Then she may start scratching the other person. She is very jealous of her older sister. She prefers to be treated like an older child and sees other children as little ones. She likes jewellery, rings and nice clothes like long dresses. She wants to look like a princess. She has a Barbie doll and lots of clothes for it, especially bridal wear.
She likes to watch trains. She likes to play like a child chatting and wants to be carried around. She does not want to grow up. She can suddenly act very offended and then sit in a corner without telling what is not right. She does not want her parents to approach then. This can be provoked when her sister is in bed with her parents. She is very persistent and can bully her parents if they do not agree with her. Then there is very unhappy complaining. This is worse when she is bored and not the centre of attention. Then she can also throw away what she liked right before that time. She can then get a very persistent cough. She is afraid of strangers, especially in the elevator.
She feels most connected to her mother but on the other hand that is the source of her problems. She is very attached to her mother but pushes her mother away when she is angry or sad. It can take a long time for her mother to comfort her. She says she doesn't love her father. But she can play with him with dolls and build castles out of pillows. She has little contact with her grandparents because they put pressure on her. She often feels shame with them as though she has done something wrong. She is very jealous of her sister especially when she has more contact with her mother.
A grandfather of hers was betrayed in WW2 by a son-in-law and sent to Auschwitz as a political prisoner and killed there by the Germans. There are many stories in the family that are not told, family secrets. Another family member has developed liver problems due to alcohol abuse.
GeneralWeather: has no influence.
Sleep: bad, falling asleep bad.
Food: very picky about food; she has an intolerance to lactose and cow's milk and will vomit; when breast feeding, she would vomit if her mother drank cow's milk.
Preferences: chicken soup, pasta, macaroni, fat, butter and fat from meat.
Dislikes: vegetables 2; sweetness.
AnalysisIn this case there seems to be no real cause for the autism. Her pregnancy and delivery were normal. The only outstanding event is a grandfather being betrayed in WW2 by a son-in-law, sent to Auschwitz and killed there by the Germans. The relationship between grandfather and son-in-law point to the
Silicon series. The betrayal and being killed is a quality of
Phase 7.
Pteridophyta: autism, difficult with contacts; fear of strangers; sleep restless.
Phase 7: betrayal; aggressive; jealous; pushes her mother away; pinching; scratching; bullying; vindictive; alcohol abuse.
Silicon series: problems with sister, jealous; grandfather and son-in-law.
Prescription:
Asplenium bulbiferum C30.
Follow upAfter 6 weeks she is 70% better. She is more with herself and can play easier by herself. She is no longer aggressive and angry. She sleeps better. She does more things by herself, thinks more about what her father says and what happened before that. She is more reflective on herself. She radiates more. She is less put out by her sister and plays more with other children. She obeys more instead of being contrary. Her Quality of life has gone from 20 to 65.
Saxifraga cuneata, Solanum americium and Microlepis platyphylla had little or no effect.
