Sleep: restless, sleepless, on falling asleep, < no fatigue; cannot sleep till daylight, > motion of hand or feet; unrefreshed in the morning.
Body
General: growing pains.
Head: headache, throbbing, stinging, fine needles were piercing the brain; frontal, temporal, left, mostly left sided; < night, < light, < slightest motion, nodding head, > rest, > mouthfuls of cold water, > hot compresses, > eating, > eyes closed, > open air, < expiring through nose; with muscles of nape of neck sore < pressure, < touch; with heat on vertex.
Eyes: as if sunken back into their sockets; itching, smarting, inner canthus of left eye; as if sand were in the eyes; lids slightly red.
Ears: discharge thin, watery; pulsating, pounding, more left; pain in the inner ear, < chewing or moving jaws.
Face: swelling.
Nose: sudden dropping of mucus into posterior nares, without warning.
Mouth: itching of lips with desire to rub them with teeth; toothache in left molars > cold water; dull sore pain in left upper and lower teeth.
Throat: swollen.
Lungs: dyspnoea; asthma; tickling, dry cough.
Chest: intense constriction over sternum with drawing feeling through to back on lying down.
Stomach: gone feeling at pit, > eating; belching tasting of celery; nausea, heartburn; spitting up of food.
Abdomen: pain, sharp, sore, sticking; extending rectum; left iliac region going to right; as if stool was coming on; diarrhoea; abscess in walls of abdomen.
Urinary: obstinate retention of urine, gravel; cystitis.
Female: menses pains, severe, lasting 24 hours, with frontal headache and nausea; amenorrhoea; dysmenorrhoea; sharp, short, cutting, sticking pains, sticking in region of both ovaries, running backward; < motion, < deep breathing; > bending, > flexed legs, > pressure, > lying down, could not walk, with weakness nausea, faintness; < afternoon. Mamma cutting pain, nipples tender, milk scanty; uterus small, slightly antiflexed with some decensus.
Back: pain dull, ache, violent, sacrum, neck; < lying down, > rising from bed, > moving about.
Limbs: bruised sensation in flesh after scratching, with sometimes a raw sensation; swelling of hands.
Skin: profuse discharge from granulating ulcers; itching, stinging, blotches; burning, creeping sensation; bruised, excoriation, < scratching; nettlerash, urticaria, with shuddering intense stinging itching, rapid change of location, < undressing in evening; alternating stomach pain.
