Aceratium oppositifolium
Synonym: Aceratium insulare.

Botany
Medium-sized trees; to 30 m tall.
Stem: fluted trunks.
Leaves: opposite; dense rusty hairs all over them which persist on the underside and the top midrib; 7.5 cm–16 cm × 3.5 cm–7.5 cm.
Inflorescence: bunches of flowers; racemes of pink flowers; approximately 20 mm long.
Flowers: yellow–orange–red, oval; fibrous ripe flesh; smells like ripe watermelon; 30 mm–45 mm × 18 mm–28 mm.
