Drosera rotundifolia
Year 2026, Issue 6, Article 2CaseAuthor: Olga Fatoula
Case 1.
Now this is the case of a Butterfly, but the first remedy was Drosera.
2006: Lana is 23 years old. She is an image maker.
Whooping cough. Constant cough, straining, attacks, up to vomiting. It was the classic clinical picture of whooping cough.
She speaks very quickly; the speech is not very legible; she has tongue piercing; vivid gesticulation, lively facial expressions.
Drosera 200. Very good effect, very quickly.
6 years later, 2012: She is married, she enjoys various practices like yoga, and the main occupation is Tarot.
I gave Morpho peleides (butterfly) at that time.
However, a more detailed life story examination now makes me look more carefully into the numeric code of Drosera in the Plant Theory.
She was born with a "cleft palate". Her early memories: “why does everyone gets into my mouth?”
“By the age of 7 I almost could not speak. No one explained me why, nobody talked to me. My mom was ashamed of me, and I did not have enough understanding, what was wrong with me? But my mind filtered it, within myself I thought that I spoke properly and I heard myself talking correctly.
“At 5 years old I was a bright girl and a strong leader, but then turned into a grey mouse.
“The surgery on the cleft palate was only done at 7 years old. We needed a speech therapist and a professional psychologist. Now at the age of 30, I am engaged in stage speech, and not with a defectologist.
“I started reading early, at the age of 2, I dived into books, it was a kind of autism.
“I had a rigid mind – there were no semitones. Either you can or you can’t, no ‘if” nor ‘when’. For example, I had desire to go out, but my parents didn't want to go out, they slept at daytime, but I didn't. They told me: if you leave home without permission, don't come back. At the age of 5, I took a tram and went to my grandmother’s place. They told me not to come back, so in my mind I went away for good.
“I wanted so much to be like everyone else, like other people, and it seemed that it was just a minor defect that made me separate.
“The favorite fairy tale "The Little Mermaid". And it is not about love. The little mermaid exchanged her tail for legs, and she thought that she would become normal like everyone else.
“In my case, by the age of 7, all abnormal children already know that they are freaks. But after an operation, nothing changes, and all the habits stay there.
“My speech was really bad. After the marriage I gradually improved it, and now I can talk much without croaking.
“I don't understand my mother, how she could can treat her child like that.
“In my early childhood I grew up in hospitals. I was born 2100 g, and my mother was offered to sign child abandonment, anyway I must have died, let alone cleft palate. They took me home, and my great-grandmother took care of bringing me up to normal weight. I could not pronounce a single word, and my mother said later, it would be better not to start speaking at all. Great-grandmother defended me, she loved me. I ate everything yellow. Then my brother was born, and we were forced to move to a bad apartment – ground floor, ice-cold floors, a classic expulsion from paradise, from warmth. And a screaming little brother; and they took away from me all my warm clothes and gave them to him. Then at the age of 5 the tonsils were removed, at the age of 7 they sutured the palate, and anesthesia doesn’t work for me. Then, out of the hospital – straight to school. It was an ideal school; nobody teased me, but very much so in the play yard. They didn't take me to the speech therapist. If I could speak I would be ahead of the whole planet. Mom listened to my crying about my speech, and did nothing about it.
“Now my favorite cartoon is ‘Stitch’. He is an experiment of life. He is trying to find his family, and there is the moral.”AnalysisSeries 3 – Relationships, identification, image maker.
66 – Independence, strength of personality. Introspection, reflection, exploration of own Shadow. Self-improvement, yoga, Tarot practices. (Later she entered the Institute of Psychoanalysis). She did it herself in improving speech, and a speech therapist appeared in her life after Drosera rotundifolia.
Phase 7: Outcast, "autism", physical disability (looks even more like Series 7). Relationship problems with the mother, neglected.
Phase 4 : Rigidity, image (Silica).
