663.66.11 Persicaria bistorta, CaseWoman, 55, arthritis.
She has pains in her knees, shoulders, worse from motion, lying on the joints.
She has dyspnoea, with wheezing in the morning.
She has colitis with attacks of diarrhoea and high fever, shivering in the evening, apathy, aversion to eating and drinking.
She is always helping others, preventing problems for them. Due to that others often take advantage of her. Her boss is using her, letting her work many hours that he does not pay for, letting her do the difficult and dirty jobs. Other employees complain to her about their boss, who is often irritable and she mediates. Her sister often makes trouble, spoils the harmony and she tries to bring harmony back. It feels as if all emotions and problems just come into her field and disturb, as if she lacks boundaries. She has the feeling that the problems of others are her fault and that she has to solve them. She feels quite good in doing it but has to keep doing it.
This attitude came from a youth with much disharmony. Her mother was a psychiatric patient, had hysterical attacks of fainting and screaming, threatening suicide, needing help of the neighbours and doctors. She was the only one who could quiet her mother. Her father was full of pity, like a beaten dog. Her sister always hated her mother, felt ashamed of her. Her parents did not show interest in their two daughters. Everyone walked very quietly through the house, preventing noise and disturbance of their mother. She learned to be very sensitive, to feel all the emotions and needs of the others in order to prevent quarrels and keep the harmony.
She was very servile to her first husband. She often wanted to quit the relationship, already from the start but did not do it because he would start to weep. When she became ill he got a girlfriend. That was the limit and she divorced.
She is a nurse. She is interested in alternative ways of thinking, meditation, new age, anthroposophy.
Desire: meat, fish.
Time: < 7 pm.
Loves plants very much, animals are okay.
Follow upAfter Polygonum bistorta MK, she is more with herself: she has boundaries and is not disturbed anymore by problems of others. She can smile about how the troubles of others do not affect her anymore.
