The resulting classification is the result of long consideration, which took into account taxonomy, homeopathy, logic and cases. I am not sure that this result is the complete truth but is the best I could come up with so far. I realise that nothing is sure, that much is in the open as many remedies are completely unknown in homeopathy yet. Taxonomy is still open to debate between botanists. The basic underlying principle is still unknown. We don’t have an equivalent of the atomic number in botany yet.
I have confidence in this classification and I expect many of the proposed classification deviations will be confirmed by future botanical taxonomy.
HomeopathyThe end classification had to be consistent with the taxonomy, the Apg classification but it had also to be consistent with the homeopathic information. That is why the end classification that is presented here is deviant from the Apg classification in some respects. Usually it is not a big problem.
ComplexA major problem has been and still is that plants and the Plant kingdom are much more complex than minerals. When one sees a symptom one has to ask oneself first if it is correct, if it really belongs to the remedy. Then the symptom has to be allocated to a Stage, Series or Phase. At the beginning though it is unclear whether it belongs to a Stage, Series, Phase or Subphase, or a combination of them.
UnsureThis book is a contradiction in itself or better said, a paradox. It is an attempt to get more grip on health and disease, to get more and better possibilities for cure but at the same time I realise that this is an impossibility. Life cannot be controlled, it has its own dynamic. It can only be experienced, undergone. On the other hand, we can do a lot to model life according to our wishes. It is the paradox of being creatures and creators.
