666.45.12 Calendula officinalis, CaseMan, 24, allergies.
His nose is full and obstructed. He has itching in his nose and throat, mostly in his nose with sneezing and a lot of mucus, a lot of coryza. It begins as a watery discharge and later on is a yellow mucus. From time to time it develops into a frontal sinusitis. His forehead is painful, feels obstructed, worse from stooping. It comes four times a year with change of seasons. It can go to his lungs with coughing up hard pieces. With that he can get an asthmatic feeling.
Dyspnoea, < sports and < evening in the cold.
Generally < dust, wet weather and damp houses.
Allergic to rabbits, to 30 of the things tested, to shampoo, soaps, mothballs, wool, ink of books, perfume, house mite, dust.
Generally his smell is acute., he is sensitive to odours. He once fainted from the odour of mothballs. He is very sensitive to stings of wasps.
The right corner of his mouth becomes cracked, a kind of herpes. Had it a few years ago.
Generally, wounds do not heal very well and have a tendency to suppurate. Poor skin, chin dimple.
He has had frequent coryza, coughing in night, frequent otitis with deafness when 4 years old, so they extracted his tonsils though they were not enlarged. After the surgery, he had a very severe bleeding afterwards, gigantic.
He has frequent nosebleeds when 1 year old. He sneezes when crawling on the floor. He had bronchitis.
He is easy going and has an aversion to problems. He likes to look at things from a distance. He is a very kind and sociable person. He is popular and likes to make jokes. He likes sports, especially tennis. He talks fast, especially when he is nervous or examinations are coming. He is afraid that he will not remember what he has learned.
He avoids quarrels; his mother thinks he lacks aggression. But he can be angry, for instance when they steal his clothes, but only internally.
His moral values are very high. He has his points of view and they are very fixed. He has a soldier quality, knowing what is and is not ethical. He hates it when someone is cheating behind someone else’s back, which can also be to his own disadvantage. He wants himself and everyone else to be respected. For example, when new students were coming, being hazed but someone used a fire extinguisher which was going too far; he did not say anything but he left.
He wants to become rich. He studies law which is going well but due to his studies he cannot concentrate well.
He seems a little too self confident. He has a no nonsense quality: “that is it, ready”.
At school he felt unsure among all those strangers.
He is practical, wants to have proofs.
Forceful speech, direct gaze, auburn eyes.
Type: stout, curly reddish hair, short on top.
Weather: < wet, foggy weather, > outside.
Sweat: in the night.
Time: < morning 8-10 am, < autumn and winter, << December.
Desire: protein: meat, fish, cheese, milk; fruit, spicy.
Aversion: sour.
Sleep: on his right side.

Follow upAfter Calendula MK he was ill for two weeks, beginning three days after the remedy. He had a dry itching cough with pains in his lungs and forehead but not so full as before. He was tired with it. After that he was much better. After a month he still had coryza but the allergies to dogs and smoke were almost gone. He is less sensitive to odours. He felt much better and stronger.
After 3 more months he is doing much better, his allergies are gone almost completely and his studies are going better. A year later his studies are much better. His allergies came back but were resolved after a repetition of Calendula MK.
As a first remedy he received
Zincum MK for his study problems. He had problems with study but feared he would forget it and constantly repeated it. Also he had restlessness and fear of examinations.
Zincum helped him in his study problems but not for the sinusitis, coryza or allergies.
