644.32.12 Turnera diffusa, CaseMan, 30, relationship problems.
He has problems with relationships. In puberty no one was in love with him. He had no friends and was not taken seriously. He was bullied a lot at primary school. One boy accepted him as a friend only when he had no one else around. After high school he started to work in youth care. He did very well there, was appreciated and he loved the responsibility. Gradually he got girlfriends there. He thought that people and girls would love him if he achieved things, but it did not all work out. A big problem was his impotence. He has a marked anticipatory fear that he will be impotent and this is worse when he is in love. When he has a superficial relationship sex is less a problem.
He had a problematic childhood. His parents divorced when he was 1. He was often taken care of by maternal parents. He felt he was floating between 3 persons, his mother, stepfather and grandmother. He felt rejected and unappreciated by his father since he was neglected as a baby. He fears that others think shit about him. He can be hard and aggressive when he is treated unjustly. He has mood swings and can be obsessive in controlling the lights and so on.
He decided to talk a lot so that people would understand him. He talks fast and a lot, hectically, vivaciously, with words like “fantastic, wonderful”. He wants to tell everything so that people like it when he is around. He does everything for others, makes it obvious that he is around, that he is to be taken seriously.
He has very good contact with his mother. The contact with his stepfather is also good but they can have differences of opinion. He sometimes has an aversion to being an adult due to all the rules and responsibilities.
He cannot stand injustice; that makes him very angry.
He has hypertension, backache, abdominal pain, numb hands.
He has fear of disease, cancer. As a child he dreamt about crocodiles trying to eat him.
Aversion: liver.
AnalysisThis case is a mixture of insecurity and being very sure. On the one hand he is shy, especially with women, on the other hand he can be very angry and shouts a lot.
