Family: Asteraceae.
English: Showy goldenrod.
General: dropsies, diaphoretic, cachexia, fevers, viscid tumours, haemorrhages, smoke inhaled up the nostrils as a reviver of consciousness.
Head: headache.
Respiratory: haemorrhage from the lungs, consumption, sore throat, pain in the chest.
Abdomen: diarrhoea, atony of the viscera, spasmodic pains in the stomach, carminative, flatulence, nausea, lax bowels, dysentery, enema.
Urinary: stones in the kidney, provokes urine, urinary obstructions, nephritic cases, ulcerations of the bladder, gravel.
Skin: bleeding wounds, burns, scalds.
Nervous: convulsions.
Female: pain in the breast.
Heart: angina.
Limbs: sprained or strained muscles, pain in the back.
