Content: selenium, manganese, zinc; proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, soluble fibre, minerals, vitamins B2 and C; ergosterol; enzymes, amino acids, ascorbic acid, Vit B componds; anticholesteremic agent; water soluble lignins.
Habitat: forest shade where cold water is nearby.
Mycology: saprophytic; tough, pliant, as old leather; growth stimulated by vibration; neutralises pesticide such as chlprophenols and dioxins.
