Argon is an unknown remedy.
SignatureThe name argon means not (an) working (ergon), or ‘inactive’, as it is an inert gas and does not react with other elements. It was discovered in 1894. Air contains about 1% argon.
The gas is used in lightbulbs, because it doesn’t corrode the metals. The steel industry uses it for its manufacturing processes for the same reason. Tubelights, lasers and Geigercounters also contain argon.
