Physenales. In the first version of the
Plant theory Physenales included only a few families with very few remedies. This was an indication that something was missing.
A few years ago it became clear that
Aizoales in Subphase had to be split. As shown in the editions 8 and 9,
Aizoaceae became the only family in
Aizoales and the subfamilies were placed in the subphases.
This made it clear that the other families had to placed soemehwer elese, with the most obvious solution to transfer them to
Phase 3. This is turning out to work well.
Nyctaginaceae, Phytollaccaeae and some smaller families fit there much better.
