Neckera complanata
English: Flat neckera.
Habitat: on shaded, rather base-rich rocks, walls, less frequently
on masonry; on bark at the base of trees and on coppice stools in old hedgerows and woodlands; rare in dry, calcareous turf.
Zoology
Stems: pale yellowish-green shoots; up to 5 cm long, rather rigid and fan-like; thread-like branches.
Leaves: smooth; less than 2 mm long; with a rounded tip which suddenly contracts into a short point; very short, double nerve is not visible in the field.; tiny; distantly spaced; teased apart.
Capsules are uncommon.
