Taxonomy
Mutsieae is a Tribe of the Subfamily Cichoroideae of Asteraceae. Old Subfamilies like Gochnatioideae, Hecastocleidoideae, Pertyoideae, Stifftioideae and Wunderlichioideae have been included in Mutsieae.
Barnadesioideae is a subfamily of the Asteraceae, with 9 genera and 93 species, endemic to South America, with a basal position in Asteraceae. It has been placed in the past in Carduoideae.
In the Plant theory Mutsioideae is placed in Subphase 1, together with the Subfamily Barnadesoideae.
Introduction
The members of Mutsioideae are almost unknown in homeopathy.
