Habitat: coastal.
BotanyHerb; annual; forming prostrate clumps or mats of stems.
Stem: up to 20 cm long; small stem branches.
Leaves: knob-like, cylindrical; fleshy; up to 2 cm long; green to bright red; visibly bumpy with shiny, bubble-like papillae.
