Insecure about themselves but slick
They look self-assured but internally they feel insecure. They hide the insecurity about themselves behind a wall of success and glamour. They try to be shiny in order that others won't see their confusion. They can try to become rich in order to cover their insecurity. But often they don't know how to become rich, trying one option after another. They have the idea that money is a means to become autonomous. Their money is a means to freedom.
Jesting when rejected
When criticized they behave as if they aren't touched by it. It looks as if the criticism just slides off. They start smiling and joking about it, as if it's something funny. This attitude is a protection against being hurt too much. In later stages it can even be the case that they don't feel the hurt at all anymore, they even slide off their own feelings.
Bullied as a criminal
Their attitude can be the consequence of being jested or bullied for a long time. They feel like they are bullied like someone without any value and someone completely rejected. They might have been rejected as a child. When it goes deeper they can lose all sense of morality, lose all values and become criminal. But they are too unsure of themselves to be a real criminal, so they'll give it a try once in a while.
