A 15-year-old boy who regularly suffers from migraine attacks and sees a child psychologist. When he feels attacked, he cringes. His neck tension is too high. Just like in elementary school, he has social problems. The migraines started when he was 11 years old, and he underwent all kinds of tests at the time. It had to do with tension; when they tease him, his angry reaction comes too late. His mother does the talking, while he sits next to her, humming. He is quiet, a little wobbly, gentle, partly in his own world, with a passive attitude towards the outside world. He often lowers his eyes when people are looking at him. He has braces on his teeth, and after the weekly tightening, he has a headache the next day. In recent months, he has had the flu four times this school season, with fever, headache, and earache. A few times a week, he stays home sick, or he goes home from school during the day. The pain starts in the morning with nausea, followed by a gradual onset of headache. Everything hurts, he is very tired, has no motivation, and the most pain is in his forehead, a constant pain. His ears join in, occasionally with a stabbing pain inside, which comes and goes. School: he is highly gifted, but there are also difficult children. He sleeps well and is rested. He has a slight rash. Last year, his posture was crooked, with one shoulder lower than the other, causing tension and a feeling of pressure.
AnalysisCampanulidae: Pain, ENT, characteristic of the
Asterales, but this can be extrapolated to the entire
Series 66.
Phase 3: he does not quite belong to the group, feels the pressure (he is sensitive for that), ‘needs’ to talk to a psychologist, and adapt.
Phase 5: tension that builds up or cannot be released, severe pain.
This brings us to the Lobeliaceae family.
Search within this group to differentiate. This can be done by Stage, organ area, or characteristic symptoms from a repertory rubric.
Lobelia inflata is known for nausea in the stomach.
Stage 15: let it be, uncontrollable, overwhelming.
Lobeliaceae suit sensitive types; they are open and vulnerable, easily affected. Openness, Lanthanide aspect of independence, setting one's own course, above the presentation.
Prescription:
Lobelia inflata C200.
Follow-upGood, he has been going to school every day for weeks, he has not been sick again, and has had no complaints since taking the medicine. He now is talking himself, makes eye contact, still lets his mother take over the conversation, but watches with observation, clearly has his own opinion. After orthodontic treatment, he had no headaches this times, but he did feel the old-fashioned tension on his teeth and jaw.
No viruses, no colds, even though there were many going around. No earaches. School is going well, despite a stressful situation with a teacher. He has never liked being in the spotlight; theater at school is unpleasant for him, and he prefers to stay on the sidelines. A lot of attention goes to his mother; you can see him thinking, looking up for a moment, speaking softly, then quickly turning his attention and awareness inward, as if he is constantly seeking motivation within himself for what he says and does. The allergy seems to be less severe; he has not been bothered by pets so far (this was for animals, dust, hay: runny eyes, runny nose, and shortness of breath).
