Family
A 63-year-old woman with a cheerful face and an open posture, her eyes kept a distance. She previously received Castella texana, which quickly improved her condition. Now she comes "for the same complaint." She has a constant cold, a lot of mucus, and a cough that lingers for a long time. No one else at home is sick. Her energy is low. For a long time, she was doing very well, "it's like it's leaking out." When she coughs, she feels her lungs; she's short of breath and uses an expectorant. She continues to work, exercise, and cycle: just "go." When she coughs, mucus comes up, but she can't get rid of it. When she lies down, she starts to rattle; she feels it in the hollow of her throat. Sometimes she has a dry mouth and a swollen tongue. This week, she lost her voice. Her throat feels like barbed wire, and there's not enough room to swallow. Last year, she developed warts, dry "cauliflowers" on her left middle finger. For six months now, her feet have been very hot when she lies down, which keeps her awake. She often has to keep them out of the covers. Periodically, she has fluid in her legs, which can fluctuate as much as 1.5 kilos per day. She also had a cough before, and she often lumps in her throat. The children are going through a difficult time; she sympathizes but can't do anything. She laughs it off. Her partner is often stubborn and irritable, having had serious medical problems. She has a managerial position in healthcare. Her left tongue is smooth and shiny.
AnalysisThe previous year, she responded well to Castella texana; we still recognize the leading aspects of the Lamiidae.
Stage 6: Resistance, infectious problems
Stage 5: Throat, mucous membranes, voice
Stage 11: Persevere, maintain (life pace), protect, warts ("benign hardening"). We continue our search within the Lamiidae and stage 11.
Q-search with the search term "warts" and Stage 11 gives Acanthes spinosis. The warts are noticeable, possibly indicative of balance. She has improved over the past year; her energy was good, and her muscles and joints are still healthy. The location of the keratinizing warts is the circulation meridian; blood circulation in the body plays a role in the imbalance, which is visible in the feet. This appears to be a central point in the imbalance, a good starting point for a search term. A "new" characteristic of a disturbance. We find confirmation in the phases.
Phase 6: fatigue.
Phase 1: cheerfulness, engagement, and spontaneity.
Prescription: Acanthus spinosus C200.
Follow-upThe first few days, she slept "like a log," and the hot feet disappeared immediately. The cough immediately became less frequent and was gone after a week. The lump in her throat has lessened; after three weeks, she still feels it, but there's more "space" when swallowing. Her energy is back to normal. The warts remained unchanged for the first month, with a few more warts on her left dorsal thumb, flat and keratinized. "There are emotions, yes; it's not all sunshine and roses at home," she says. The stinging sensation of the warts gradually disappears. Fluid retention disappears. She continues to feel well and has no more complaints, and the warts disappear very gradually over the following months.
