The self-confident wise guy
Almost autonomous by expanding themselves
They want to be autonomous in order to feel self-confident. They have the idea that they have to be free in order to be someone really big, someone better than others, someone that will win. But they have the feeling of not being completely independent yet and that will cause some insecurity. They boast to cover up their insecurity, pretending it doesn't exist. This way they can feel big again.
Almost autonomous but blocked by an inflated ego
It can also turn out the other way, that their ego is too big and stands in the way of their becoming autonomous. They put themselves so much in the foreground that they cannot see clearly anymore. They cannot get complete insight and things can go wrong at the last moment. When this becomes exaggerated they can become the type of the overconfident wise guy.
Father pushes them to be wise
They can have a father that has pushed them a lot as a person. Their father wanted them to be the best always in order to make them independent people. Their father can have pushed them to understand everything, to learn every aspect of the world. He pushed them to become autonomous and wise.
Deep understanding with self-confidence
In later development they want to gain self-control by trying to understand their own inner world. They can pursue the spiritual path with self-confidence, but there too they are left with the feeling that something is still missing in their world-view. They have the feeling that some pieces are missing in their picture so that they cannot be completely confident.
They can try to understand the human mind better from looking at themselves and especially by exaggerating their own character traits.
