Habitat: altitude 800 to 1200 metres; semi-arid; on gentle, lower slopes of mountains; prefers some shade.
BotanyShrub; perennial; decumbent low growing, 30 to 75 cm tall.
Leaves: variably coloured; flat.
Flowers: yellow to yellow-green; cylindrical to urceolate; exude a sticky substance, trapping insects.
