Taxonomy
In the Apg3 classification Cleomaceae is a Family in the Order Brassicales. Cleomaceae is sometimes included in Brassicaceae and in the past in Capparidaceae.
In the Plant theory Capparidaceae is treated in the same way and placed in Subphase 5.
