General
Sensation: contraction, burning.
Weather: chilly; < heat, < warmth; > mountain.
Sweat, followed by burning heat in the hands.
Desire: fat ham, ham; food, unusual, voracious appetite; drinks, thirst.
Aversion: food, appetite slight; fasting.
Physical: < motion, < walking, < stretching the limbs, < touch.
Body
General: haemorrhages, ecchymosis; diabetes.
Energy: drowsiness; coma.
Fever: chill, goose flesh, flushes of heat in the face, < afternoon, < eating.
Vertigo or raising the head, < by stooping.
Head: brain congested, stitches, temples; heavy; pressure, forehead, < stooping; sharp pressure, temporal; pain pressing, occiput, from crown.
Nose: sinusitis, frontal; hayfever.
Eyes: twitching; vision disturbed, flickering of small fiery stripes, >> opening and closing the eyes, muscae volitantes, transient blackness; eyeballs feel larger, as if pressed outwards; pupils were greatly dilated; blindness.
Ears: bursting like a bubble.
Nose: violent griping, tickling in nose.
Mouth: dry; contracted, drawn together, slowly increasing and decreasing, > meal; disordered taste; saliva copious; taste nauseous, < fever; taste clear, acid, sulphurous, sour, offensive, < forenoon, > eating; tongue furred, sensitive, as if swollen, < fever; pain teeth, drawing, sticking, + tickling upper surface of the tongue.
Throat: swallowing difficult, uncomfortable, dysphagia; trachea pain, contracting; hoarse; oesophagus stricture; contracting, trachea, hoarseness; inspired air feels cold.
Lungs: inspired air feels cold; yawning; stertorous breathing; asphyxia.
Heart: general venous congestion.
Chest: pain; dull, stitches in the side, right, left, beneath the left breast, < stooping, < motion, < breathing.
Stomach: bitter burning; nausea retching; vomiting green, acid, watery; hiccough.
Abdomen: cutting, drawing, griping pains; spleen stitches; liver full, sore, stitching, sensitive left lobe; large; cirrhosis, jaundice; hyperaemia; portal congestion; gallbladder swollen tender, gallstone.
Rectum: diarrhoea.
Limbs: burning hands after sweat; burning arms << exertion; veins distended and aching; as if bruised spots on touching limbs; feet weak < sitting, soles feel sore < walking; tension in tendons; aching and cracking in joints; aching, cutting pain, slight swelling of veins; paralysis, < fever; heavy; tension in tendons; aching, cracking, joints, bones, < stretching the limbs; localised spasms.
Skin: red and afterwards yellow spots; wounds.
