English: bittersweet; Fever twig; Staff vine; Staff tree.
Content: sulphur, phosphorus, hydrochloric, nitric acid; natural resin, starch, gum, volatile oils, naphthoquinone, celastrol.
General: glands swollen; indurated tumours and swellings.
Energy: weakness; syphilitic.
Eyes: blue bands under eyes.
Face: pale, yellow, green.
Stomach: dyspepsia, cathartic.
Abdomen: liver complaints, obstruction, jaundice.
Urinary: urine scanty; kidney problem after labour.
Female: obstructions of women, swollen breasts.
Skin: swellings, ulcers.
