9. Case of AzoospermiaPresenting Complaint: A 45-year-old male patient presented with the complaint of inability to conceive a child. Semen analysis revealed a low sperm count.
Other Complaints: For the past eight years, he has also been suffering from eczema on the legs associated with itching, which is aggravated by thinking about it.
Generalities: Loves to try out different cuisines; desire for meat; thermally chilly; restless sleep.
Nature: Taking on leadership; ambitious; feels better when occupied.
Mind State: Extremely worried about the low sperm count, especially distressed about his wife’s suffering. Highly dependent on his wife, describing her as everything to him.
Stressful Situation: During childhood, after his grandfather’s death, he felt lonely and longed for his care. Subsequently, he became emotionally strong and assumed responsibilities early in life. When his wedding was postponed due to initial parental disapproval, he felt unloved and alone despite the issue later being resolved. He defines love as responsibility and shared long-standing feelings of being unloved due to lack of maternal affection in childhood.
