A moss remedy of Aulacomniaceae
Case by Christina Ari
Case of an eight-year-old girl suddenly refusing to go to school, clearly unfounded.
Already in the past it happened that she denied to join groups as swim or dance courses, although longing for it. When she approached with her mother, she immediately drew back and seemed to be afraid of something she wasn’t aware of.
Within her family or together with very close friends, she felt well acquainted. She had an open character and was full of joy in her life, a highly talented and much-loved girl. Therefore, no one understood her refusing behaviour.
Out of the anamnesis: When she was two years old she had a terrible accident. Early in springtime she fell into a pond and almost drowned. She was drifting already about 30 minutes in the cold water until she was detected without any signs of life. Another hour passed until the emergency helicopter arrived and intensive attempts at resuscitation finally succeeded. In hospital she was placed in an artificial coma for four days. Although the prognosis was not good at all, by some miracle she reshaped quickly and was without any harm after she woke up. Since then she never showed any after effects obviously concerning that accident.
Analysis
At home within her family she feels save and stable, but as soon as she has to explore unfamiliar terrain she tears back, as if the world seems to be too big for her, which makes her feel uncertain and unreliable. This circumstance made me think about mosses, as they feel ungrounded, both emotionally and in reality. This girl definitely lost her ground when drawing in the pond.
So, I made my decision and I was quite sure about mosses, as I just returned from Jan’s seminar in Utrecht 2018, with a load full of untouched moss remedies in my hands. But which one was the right one? Therefore, I asked the girl to choose one of the 42 samples exposed on the table by herself and without hesitating she grabbed a moss remedy of Aulacomniaceae.
The results of the proving of this remedy totally confirmed her first-choice.
A moss remedy of Aulacomniaceae
Clades: Aulacomniaceae; Hypnodendrales, Bryidae, Bryanae, Bryophyta, Plants.
Series: Hydrogen, Carbon and Silicon series; emphasis on Silicon Series.
Essence: A person in a threatening, deadly situation, but he cannot do anything about, he can only wait. Like someone in a submarine is slowly sinking. Or a miner, trapped after a mine accident and the oxygen comes to an end. Or being spilled under the avalanche. A horrible situation without exit, no way out. (Fairylike Mosses, Jan Scholten)
Follow up
After the girl got the remedy two times in C30 she had a dream:
“She was riding a horse and that made her feel good”.
Therefor I advised her mother to go for equestrian vaulting and after a few weeks she lost all of her shyness joining groups or classes and since she did not show any complaints referring to such circumstances, she seems self-confident and well grounded.
