665.25.11 Aspidosperma quebracho-blanco, Aspidosperma quebracho
Names: Quebracho aspidosperma; White Quebracho; Quebracho.
Content: alkaloid aspidospermine, quebrachine, small, very brilliant, white crystals, sparingly soluble in water, readily soluble in alcohol and ether.
General
Time: < night.
Sleep: sleepless, < dyspnoea.
Physical: > sitting upright, < lying; < exertion.
Fever.
Nervous: unconsciousness, coma, < uraemia.
Face: livid, venous stasis.
Nose: hayfever.
Lungs: !!; dyspnoea, respiration difficult, convulsive, spasmodic, asthmatic, < night, < lying down, > sitting, upright, < exercise, < heart complaints; respiratory paralysis, tuberculosis; pleurisy; emphysema, bronchiectasis; pulmonary stenosis; thrombosis of pulmonary artery; obstruction to the oxidation of the blood; dyspnoea, uraemic, cardial; bronchial asthma, asthmatic bronchitis, dyspnoea; emphysema; catarrh of smokers; oedema pulmonum; stenosis; thrombosis.
Heart: fatty degeneration; hypertrophy; dilatation; slowed heart; valvular disease; mitral incompetence, stenosis; noises, murmurs; dropsy; cyanosis, compelling the patient to sit up in bed.
Chest: constriction, tension, tightness; oppression, convulsive, spasmodic, < night, < lying.
Urinary: uraemia.
Male: impotence.
Limbs: aching; paralysis of limbs.
