Essence: not taking on work.
Letting the relationship rest
They enjoy their relationships because they feel they don’t have to make any effort. They can enjoy what they did in the past within their relationship, but for the moment they can give it a rest. They do have contact with their various relations, but they don’t do anything special, they let things take their own course.
Not bound by relationships
They feel happy and carefree. They don’t have to do a lot for their relations and they also leave others free to do what they want. They don’t expect anything special from them either. It is all very free and easy going. It also means there is a sense of superficiality, they are a bit noncommittal, they don’t really get involved with anyone on a deeper level.
Denial of work and duty
They don’t want to have anything to do with work or duty. It is as if they even deny the existence of duty. Not that they fight against it, they simply deny that it is even there. Responsibility is a word they don’t know: they flutter through life like a butterfly. An example of such a situation is when they have received a large inheritance and they don’t have to work for the rest of their lives. Or when they marry someone who is very rich, so that they will never have to think about money and work again.
Free of work: holidays
Holidays form a normal break in a life of work and duty. It is a time of retreat, to recuperate your strength, ready for the next year. In the case of jobless people this period of retreat is no longer temporary, it is a permanent state.
Mood: happy, cheerful, not influenced by negative circumstances.
Light-headedness, floating feeling.
