13 october 2018This is a 50 year old single woman.
her sister has told me she wants to be perfect, doesn’t want to miss her job.
Has personality perturbation as she becomes violent with family when she is not ok, its verbal abuse and sometimes she pushes people. Chronic recurrent depression.
The problem being job stress, she cannot handle all the chores she is given. Feels she won’t be able, feels she cant do as she would like to do her job and cannot do many things at one time; having too many things affects her.
Cries frequently as the colleagues don’t cooperate or that the school parents (she is a teacher) complain and she has to resolve situations, and she can’t as she is perfectionist. She actually does her job but not as she would like, she is very strict with her level of work, her work is her priority in life, she has no other life. She remains alone at home at weekend because she just focuses at school chores and cleaning her house.
She lies frequently whether she has taken medicine or is she goes early to sleep. Now with patient: She shows me her own + results for the genetic disease her mother has. (Carrier of fascio- scapulo-humeral type 1, dystrophy. -FSHD1- 1 fragment detected in gene code). She has been told she could develop the same disease of her mother (I’ve treated her mother with Iridium for 25 years and the disease just stopped developing - CPK controlled - but remained with big incapacity).
What she feels are the muscles of her arms, she can’t lift them up (just as her mother started 30 years ago), and feels difficulty to walk, can’t lift her feet or walk in a normal manner, she has already fallen down walking up stairs. 8 months ago her CPK was already 281, the normal being 26-192.
in 2016 she had already microcitosis, anisocitosis, and hypochromia but is not yet defined as Thalassemia.
Other than this, loads of work, many problems, the students, she had much work already last year, she was very nervous and irritated with things, even asking for help to the school the parents didn’t collaborate.
And also the mother is totally dependent on them. (Same dystrophy).
She finished a relationship with a man last year and that created sadness, nervousness and wasted her a lot; it has been a very difficult year.
Loads of work, both at school as what she takes back home, and even in the weekend. Then all the psychological and emotional problems related to the students, parents and
colleagues, she becomes nervous and has no time for her things or her families.
Becomes sad, tired, irritable, nervous and depressed. This happens when problema are too many and she cant resolve in the best way.
example: badly behaved children that failed in their homework, and parents didn’t believe in her and wouldn’t make efforts to help their own children
- or that she was criticised as a group director just because parents would listen just to the children version.
She couldn’t manage solve the situation as to how to help the children really. the parents didi’t collaborate as parents or with the school, and the children were not helped.
What was more taxing for her was too much work, not resting, not having time for her, excessive work, lack of time to relax, or time to just walk outside and promenade.
Dr. Gabriel Campuzano P.Clinical CaseIt was more the amount of work than the side of being criticised. She just wanted to solve things properly with the parents and with the pupils, she noticed the parents didn’t want to collaborate, and the principal of the school could have done more. She was constantly sending mails to the director and sending messages. Those problems were all year long.
In fact these type of complaints are basically the same she told me 12 years ago. I gave her Kalium nitricum that helped something in her general state (pains in back and depression at that time)
She is just working more and more, and becomes more tired and sad and depressed. They are demanded more things at work and even working a lot she doesn’t find any recognition of her work from anyone. She is forcing herself very much.
Her mother was a house wife always, and it was when she was around 40 years that the disease appeared. The mother also suffered from recurrent depression and burnt out syndrome some times before the disease manifested in herself. She was always remembering things of the past, the husband has always a lot of work and she couldn’t deal with all the domestic chores as she was taking care of the children.
The father as a military person, and played an instrument in the army band. She wouldn’t connect much with the father as they had very different ways of looking at life and would enter in conflict (she cries now as she tells about this). he died 12 years ago, due to a heart failure.
As she entered work, she realised it was going to be very difficult, she was always given the worst classes, the worst schedules as she was not effective in her contract, that went about 8 years, it was very difficult since the very beginning.
Her sleep is more or less, no dreams. She likes eating cakes and sweet things. Mood?
She is currently taking Prozac, and fortunately she is not longer the director of her class, so she is not so agitated with so much responsibility, otherwise, she would be depressed and irritable. She presents no fears nor phobias.AnalysisThought about Papilionoideae 644.5? I know this family was going to be revised, anyway, the excess of work and the lack of recognition made me thing about phases.56.
and the dystrophy made me think about stage 14.
Gave her Sarothamnus scoparius C30, a few doses a week.Follow up27 nov: Calls telling her mood has improved a lot, her depression and crying are much better, it’s very clear, and also she is able to lift her arms better than before. Told her to continue.
