Calluna vulgaris

Year 2022, Issue 36, Article 1CaseAuthor: Louis Klein
Woman, cancer.
She has axillary metastasis surgically removed, with unknown primary tumor. A mammary cancer was never discovered despite a test excision from the right breast. She refused to remove the breast on suspicion or to irradiate it; she only went for an antiestrogen treatment with tamoxifen in order not to alienate the entire medical staff. After a short time, however, she also dropped this remedy because she did not like the suppressive treatment and felt inwardly that she was not ill. She had been treated with daily doses of Apis C30 and Asterias rubens C30, alternating weekly for more than 8 weeks, until she could finally make her way to the urgently recommended operation, but only when she was better with the two remedies. She felt that Apis in particular worked wonderfully. In the past her beloved husband had died early, and her role as a lonely widow had been added to her. With her activity and her need for affection and attention, she then put the entire environment under pressure without consciously intending to do so. After the cancer diagnosis she had got into an additional massive conflict and changed her mind several times, but always came back to the fact that her belief in divine social justice was stronger than the illness. This proved to be true during the following years, because she has been well for 3 years and has no more complaints.
Her greatest satisfaction had come earlier from her work in a juvenile prison, where she cooked and was there for all young "criminals". She could talk to them and that was good for her. The patient also suffered from carpal tunnel syndrome, which was explained by lymphoedema in her arm. It was not improved by a follow-up operation with splitting of the tendon compartment. It was only with Erica that deafness in the hands improved. She calmed down completely after this treatment. It was tried several times in comparison with Apis, but she felt the effect of Erica as clearly better. Above all, her fruitless actionism has been moderate, and she has joyfully laid down her work in prison to enjoy her pension, which was previously unthinkable. For over three years now she has been at peace with herself, and she is well.
Erica was only found because the patient used to dream that she was travelling, and then there were difficulties on the way. Usually she did not arrive or there were other obstacles. During the tumor episode she was once again on the road in a dream, this time in the Lüneburger Heide. She was in a beautiful hotel. There were no problems like in such travel dreams, she just felt comfortable. She opened the window in the morning and outside you could see the flowering heather everywhere, all full of Erica. The sun was shining. It was wonderful. Everywhere the heath bloomed and it was beautiful. It was this intense description of her dream that drew attention to Erica. She got Calluna vulgaris C200. It was her best remedy.
Her preference for black was so clear that the remedy is now being tested under black until newer results confirm or disprove this. I found this color strange because it has nothing of the dark characteristics of this color. It is neither dark, nor does it have the typical heaviness, but it she preferred clearly prefers black.
