Calcium carbonicum

One of the most striking animal cases in my practice is a case of a woman of 34 years. I have tried to resolve this case since 4 years. This woman was in constant discontent with her relatives and her husband, she wanted more love, more emotional support. She had eczema, craving for sweets and nausea from sweets, sleeplessness. She had been addicted to alcohol as a teenager. She had a homosexual relationship before she met her husband. I tried many remedies with row 3 without success (minerals and insects). Other homeopaths tried too.
Finally, I began to understand that this woman has mainly basic fears of Row 2 and because of these fears she is angry at her family, because the family doesn't support her so much (it is her believing) generally in the danger situations of life. Her Row 3 problems were subordinated to her deeper Row 2 fears that are not so visible. Her main fear is for her child. That something bad can happen. I began to see that she behaves like a child, she doesn't work, she never had plans to work. So, I gave her a remedy from the molluscs which are in Row 2 mainly. I chose Ostrea edulis according to the sensations.
She made herself a verbal remedy. All her symptoms were soon gone. She began to behave like a woman, not like a dependent child. After 4 months she decided to buy the remedy from Helios. And she told me that on the remedy it is written "Ostrea edullis (Calcarea carbonicum)".
My astonishment was big! This remedy was the same as Calcium carbonicum !!!
I knew that Hahnemann made Calcium carbonicum from oyster's shell, but I thought that this remedy had the picture of the substance calcium carbonate and that the remedy Ostrea edullis was different.
I began to read all the symptoms of Calcium carbonicum and I found that more of the mental symptoms have nothing in common with the element "Calcium carbonicum ", but they are mollusc's symptoms. According to the symptoms in the repertory Calcium carbonicum is mainly in Row 2 and is mainly in phase 5 (the so-called "tubercular miasm"). And it is not in Row 4 at all. Calcium carbonicum wants support for its basic security and not for its material stability.
My patient was exactly such a case - she was not interested in material or financial topics, but in physical survival of her family. She had nothing in common with Row 4.
When my patient took the Helios remedy Calcium carbonicum 1M all her symptoms came back one after another for a while and then disappeared.
I think that cases of the element Calcium carbonicum can benefit a lot from the remedy Calcium carbonicum, but they will be better from a remedy made from the pure substance, and not from the shell of Ostrea edulis.In this case Row 3 was subordinated to Row 2.
