Sarraceniales
Botany: Rorulidaceae, Sarraceniaceae and Mitrastemonaceae are carnivorous or parasitic.
Taxonomy
Sarraceniaceae, Actidiniaceae and Roridulaceae are closely related. Sarraceniaceae and Roridulaceae are carnivourous and semi carnivorous. Actidiniaceae are vines with the most well-known member the kiwi, Actinidia deliciosa.
In the Apg3 classification the families are included in a broad Order Ericales. That Order is a combination of formerly separate Orders like Theales, Ericales, Primulales, Ebenales and other families.
In the Plant theory Ericales is upgraded to the level of Subclass and the old Orders are recognised as Orders in Ericidae. The monophyletic clade of Actidiniaceae. Rorulidaceae, Sarraceniaceae is called Sarraceniales and is placed in Phase 7.
The placement in Subphases is tentative, as most members are unknown in homeopathy.
