Taxonomy
Philesiaceae is an early diverging line in Liliaceae and is sometimes described as its own family.
In the Plant theory Philesiaceae is Subphase 1 of Liliales.
Introduction
The Subphase 1 makes them childish, impulsive, whereas the Phase 6 makes them begging, seducing for love.
They can feel like an outsider, not being accepted in the group, they will make many attempts to become part of the family but always are left with the feeling that they do not really belong.
They can have the feeling that they will be loved only when they are enthusiastic, impulsive, a bit manic. They have to sparkle out the energy in order to feel a bit accepted. But even then it feels as just being accepted, tolerated, not really being a part of the family.
In puberty they are often used for their impulsiveness. They feel easily in love and are childish enough to think that the other really loves them. The other then does not take them seriously as they give in too easily, so it cannot be serious and so they leave them. After that they can easily become the second hand type that everyone can use but no one wants to have.
They have a strange combination of freshness, sparkle and on the other hand decay, offensiveness and abuse.
Later in life in their marriage they keep having their impulsive qualities with flirting behaviour. This can give their partner the feeling that they are adulterous all the time. But they only are loving in a childish way, a way misunderstood and often taking advantage of by others. They can quite easily be abused.
As a child they are so open and naïve, that they cannot see that others see it as an invitation for sex, so they easily get into situations of sexual abuse and incest.
