2.7.6 Stage 6, Neodymium: Scylla
After Odysseus and his men have passed the Sirens, they can go in two directions. The first is the way of the Planktai that are rocks that shatter everything. The other option is the narrows where two monsters live at each side, Scylla and Charybdis. Odysseus chooses the side of Scylla and 6 of his men are eaten by the monster Scylla with his six heads on long necks.
Stage 6 is the Stage of dangers that need a lot of courage to overcome. That is what we see here. The Planktai cannot be overcome at all, they will destroy everything. The least dangerous is the narrows with the monsters Scylla and Charybdis. Scylla is the least dangerous: it will eat only six of his men with his six heads.
The loss of men is symbolic of the loss of all kinds of convictions, beliefs, illusions, delusions, opinions, theories, dogmas, faiths, ideologies and prejudices.
