A remedy of Geraniaceae
Remedy code: 3-653.14.13
A woman 30 years old with premenstrual syndrome. She has severe bleeding during menses, the blood is bright red and she has severe pain in the abdomen. She describes this pain as contraction, which is improved by heat and when she lies down.
The worst thing about her condition is her emotional state. She is then irritated and angry, so that she can scold for little things. Her husband or her children only have to do a little thing wrong or say something misleading, then she is already annoyed. She can really explode, which she feels terribly sorry for afterwards. During this time she feels overwhelmed by her whole life and then she just wants to stay in bed in the morning and die.
This emotional state begins a few days before her period, after her period it subsides again. In addition to the emotions and pain, she also finds her body incredibly heavy, it's like there's lead in the bones.
She reports that she is a family man and very afraid of losing her children and her husband. For example, she is afraid that her husband will not come back from mountaineering, that something will happen to him there, that a fall in the weather or a lightning strike will occur, or that he will fall.
She herself is afraid of heights and therefore prefers not to go with them. She is afraid of slipping, falling, dying and leaving her children alone. She is also always afraid for her children, worries about little things like childhood diseases or fears that something will happen to them. This fear that something might happen to her husband and children ties her chest and heart together. It is a very strong pressure and she gets very bad air because her breathing is blocked. In these situations she has to cry for fear and helplessness.
When she was 13 years old, her older brother died in a car accident. At that time, at the age of 13, she had totally repressed this situation. She says she just taped it over. She behaved as usual: "I was funny as always".
She is the youngest of three siblings.
Later in her life she went through a family constellation and there she came into contact with her real feelings of that time. During the family constellation she saw herself sitting alone in her room and the rest of the family was elsewhere busy with his own pain. Even later there was no talk about the death of her brother. Before this misfortune they were a happy family in their memory, whose family members had a close connection to each other.
During this time she simply went on, lived on and didn't let on what the death of her brother meant for her.
The mother cried a lot during this time and never really recovered from the loss. The father was more present for the children than their mother.
The father always worked a lot. He was employed as a craftsman, he was skilful and very diligent. He also often worked on weekends to provide for his family. The mother is a housewife and was always there for the children.
The patient felt comfortable with her parents and could rely on them in all situations. She runs a small cosmetic studio that she runs alongside the children. She likes to do that, she likes to be creative and wants people and things to look good.
Hobbies:
Her big hobby is music, she sings in a choir.
She attends courses on herbal pedagogy, which are connected with hiking. In these courses you learn to identify plants locally and to classify them as edible or inedible. She started collecting wild herbs herself and uses them for cooking.
Geraniaceae
In qjure.com Jan Scholten writes as an introduction about the plant family Geraniaceae:
The strongest theme is the desire for a happy family that feels protected, safe and happy at home.
On the other hand, there is the desire to be special, to do something special. This often leads to conflicts, as the family often comes from a lower class and thus hinders the wish of the family members to become something special. Since everyone is normal, it is necessary that everyone is normal and not special or conspicuous.
The respective culture can bring stress and conflicts in the family with itself. For example, a patriarchal culture can make the father domineering and in extreme cases even abusive. Women can be considered minors and without rights.
Mind
A theme can be the lack of reflection, that one is just the way one is, a naive expression of one's own state.
Desire for a happy family; domestic happiness.
Desire for a good time with family and friends to work together.
There is a desire to become something special, to do something special, to be creative, to attend a university or an art school.
Happy to reach the family.
Midwives.
Hiding family problems behind a happy and successful image.

Taxonomy
In the Cronquist system Geraniaceae were placed together with Oxalidaceae, Limnanthaceae, Tropaeolaceae and Balsaminaceae in Oxalidales. In the Apg 2 classification, Geraniales was placed in Rosidae, outside Eurosidae 1 and 2. In the Apg 3 classification, Geraniales were associated with the Myrtales and considered as sisters of the Malvidae, or combined with the Malvidae together in an enlarged Malvidae.
The demarcation of the families is still controversial. Geraniaceae is the main family, the other families are very small.
In plant theory they are the third subclass of the Malvanae, with the emphasis on the silicon series. In homeopathy only members of Geraniaceae are known. The classification into subphases is provisionally based on taxonomic data.
Geraniacaeae and Melianthaceae are discussed further.
