Ferrum phosphoricum
Ferrum phosphoricum is a very strange remedy, in so far as it has frequently been used for acute conditions, but there has hardly been a single record of its use in a chronic case. This is strange because, according to the homeopathic philosophy, any remedy can be a chronic remedy. One might even wonder if there are any acute diseases at all, or whether they are merely acute flare-ups of a chronic condition.
Another strange fact is that there is no mental picture known as yet, whilst there are plenty of physical symptoms known of Ferr-p.
Becker (1992, page 17) has written a very interesting article on Ferr-p, wherein transvestism and transsexuality plays an important part in the mind picture.
I have not been able to fit this pattern into the group analysis yet.
