655.26.16 Daphne mezereum, Mezereum
English: Spurge Olive.
Introduction
They have a conflict of loyalty. At one hand they feel dependent on society and on the other hand society is blaming them, treating them as inferiors. On the one hand they feel loyal to their family, parents and friends and on the other hand their relatives have done something wrong in society and are treated as bad people. They have difficulty standing up for themselves and being aggressive. They feel remorse when angry.
Mind
Put on a brancj line.
Irresolute persons of a phlegmatic constitution.
Vexatious, with remorse and repentance; angry < trifles, soon sorry for it.
Confusion, < interruption, < intercurrent remark of others, < eating.
Hard work to talk; it seems to be hard to utter a word.
Indifference to everything and everybody; looks through a window for hours without being conscious of objects around.
Apprehension.
Hypochondriac, despondent.
Apprehensive at pit of stomach.
Censorious.
Desire for company, worse while alone.
Fear: being punished, blamed, < expecting unpleasant news, pain or shock.
Revenge or love are impossible.
Dream: back covered with stool.
Dream: falling from a height; journeying unknown places, uneasy, complete confusion of ideas.
Dream: snakes, in bed, pursued by them; disfigured face.
General
Sensation: twisting, squeezing, screwing, drawing, pinching, wedge, plug.
Localisation: one sided.
Weather: chilly, < cold air.
Type: light-haired.
Body
General: sudden pains of various kinds, followed by chilliness, numbness and soreness, become cold, or emaciate.
Head: headache, violent, wedge, plug, < slight vexation, < slightest touch; right sided; eczema, covered with thick, leather-like crust, under which thick and white pus collects; hair is glued and matted together; pus after a time is ichorous, offensive, with vermin; child scratches face continually, which is covered with blood; eruptions moist; itching worse at night; inflammatory redness of face.
Ears: deaf.
Mouth: tooth feel elongated; pain, dull, < biting, < touched with tongue, < at night; > with mouth open and drawing in air; carious teeth, decay of roots.
Lungs: asthma, cough.
Stomach: anxiety.
Limbs: pain in periosteum of long bones, going downwards or upwards, inflamed, swollen, < night, < least touch, < damp weather, << mercury, << venereal diseases; caries, exostosis, tumours soften from within out; bruised, weary feeling in joints, with drawing and stiffness; as if they would give way.
Skin: eczema, intolerable itching, < in bed, < touch, <<< vaccinations; copious, serous exudation; herpes zoster, neuralgic burning pains; ulcers with thick, yellow pus, sticking the clothes, under thick, yellow, white scabs, bleeding when scabs are torn away; vesicles, itching violently, burning like fire; shining, fiery-red areola around it.
DD: Hepar, Kreosotum, Mercurius, Phytolacca.
