Introduction
The stage has been quite difficult to determine as the patients were children and had a combination of timidity and self-assurance. It comes together in Stage 9, where there is both a kind of knowing better and at the same time the feeling of just not getting to it, not really achieving. The typical disease is placenta praevia where it often goes wrong just before the labour.
They feel that they are very good and talented. On the other hand there is always something that is not complete, there is something missing. Things can easily go wrong at the last moment. They can get into a situation where they are not in control anymore, where authorities or parents take over, which is their worst case scenario.
They hate to be told what to do as that is seen as a confirmation that they are just not good enough, that in essence they are just still incapable of controlling their own life. It is a blow to their self-image.
