A 70-year-old man presents with aneurysms (intracranial). He came due to double vision and dizziness. This is severe; if he covers the right side of his right lens with tape, it becomes manageable. It started with nausea and dizziness, then everything doubled, fatigue, and headaches. Symptoms have been present for two months. Onosmodium relieved the symptoms; he could do everything again with a taped lens on his glasses. Meanwhile, an MRI scan revealed the alarming result of two large aneurysms pressing on the optic nerve. Surgery is being prepared. Thirty years ago, the pituitary gland was removed due to a tumor; he had many complaints afterward that disappeared after Causticum. After Causticum, he was able to work half-days again and enjoyed it until retirement. No scans had been done in the past 10 years. He always did a lot for and with his two children and got angry if something was wrong with them. His wife had passed away earlier. Since then, he had a 'shared' household with the neighbors, always eating together, the children of both families are like brothers and sisters, they go on vacation together. He has always been a cheerful man, with adolescent antics, the only things he worried about and focused on were his children and the 'new family'. Later, he had kidney poisoning once, hallucinating in the ICU, tied up with worsening blood values. Again, the children were beside him and on the bed, saying goodbye. Stramonium was prescribed for the acute picture, after which he immediately and miraculously improved. After this 'near-death experience' for him, he developed an almost obsessive interest in the church and religion, he set up a house chapel, started doing volunteer work, went on retreats in monasteries, gives tours in the cathedral. Furthermore, he remained the same, easygoing, sloppy, on the same wavelength as his grandchildren. For the last two years, he had been living in a room at his child's house to save money because his child had debts. He usually is in his world, staring ahead. Always cheerful around people, then he comes alive.
