Carduoideae is a Subfamily of Asteraceae. It is an early diverging lineage of Asteraceae. Carduoideae is monophyletic and recognised as a subfamily in older taxonomies. Carduoideae is sometimes treated as a Tribe of the Subfamily Cichoroideae.
In the Plant theory Carduoideae is placed in Subphase 2.
They want to go their own way but they have to fight for it. They need to take their place in order to be able to plan their own life.
Their goal and purpose is often blocked or limited by others, especially parents and teachers.
They have a high purpose in life, something that will give their life meaning but that is also for the good of the world. But often others do not see that, so they feel misunderstood.
In times of oppression they can become real liberation fighters. They can go into the resistance movement, the underground movement.
They can have parents who were domineering. They have the feeling that they had to fight for their position, that they had to shout and scream and become angry to become heard. Or they became passive and adapted to the situation of feeling just accepted in the family or society.
They have to fight, cannot be dominated or overruled.
They have to do things on their own.
