English: Arrowgrass family.
Genera: Triglochin, Lilaea, Maundia, Tetroncium.
Botany: marsh or aquatic herbs; linear, sheathing basal leaves; flowers small, green in erect spikes or racemes; flower parts come in threes; carpels 3 or 6, joined to a superior ovary; fruit a capsule.
